Terms of use

About these terms

These terms are between you and JP Potgieter, trading as CricketTech (Veldhoven, the Netherlands; company registration in progress), for the CricketTech app. By creating an account you accept them. Using the app without an account only needs you to follow "Fair use" below.

Accounts

You must be 16 or older to create an account. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you're responsible for what happens with your account. Accounts are free. You can delete yours at any time in the app (Club → Account) or as explained on Delete your account.

Umpiring and training aids

Ball tracking, the edge check, ClubEye reviews and gadget readings are aids for club, training and fun use. They can be wrong, for example with poor video, light, camera position or sound. They are not official decisions, and the on-field umpire's call stands unless your match organiser agrees otherwise. CricketTech is not connected to any cricket board or broadcast review system.

Fair use

Don't misuse the app or our services: no attempts to break in, overload them, or copy the app to sell. Only record people who know they're being filmed, and follow your club's rules on filming, especially of children.

The app as it is

We work to keep the app reliable but can't promise it's always free of errors or available. We may change or stop features. Our liability is limited to the extent the law allows; nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under the law.

Hardware

CricketTech gadgets are sold separately, under the terms of sale shown when you buy them. Registering interest in the app or on this website is not an order.

Law

Dutch law applies. If you live in another EU country you also keep the protection of the consumer laws there. Questions: crickettechsa@gmail.com.
