CricketTech Umpire: privacy policy
How the CricketTech Umpire game handles your information. Version 1.0, last updated 21 October 2026.
Who we are
JP Potgieter, trading as CricketTech (Veldhoven, the Netherlands; company registration in progress) makes the CricketTech Umpire game. For any privacy question, email crickettechsa@gmail.com.
The short version
CricketTech Umpire collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Everything the game remembers stays on your phone.
What stays on your phone
- Your career: your umpire's name and looks, your level, matches, decisions, coins, kit and settings are saved on your phone only.
- A match in progress: saved on your phone so you can carry on later.
- The full-game purchase: the phone remembers that you own it.
None of this is sent to us. Uninstalling the game deletes it. If Android backup is on, your phone may back the game's save up to your own Google account, under Google's privacy policy.
Buying the full game
The one-off "Full game" purchase is made through Google Play. Google handles your payment details under its own privacy policy; we never see them. The game asks Google Play whether you own the purchase, so it comes back after a reinstall or on a new phone.
Permissions
The game uses no camera, microphone, location, contacts or storage permissions. It only connects to the internet to talk to Google Play about the purchase.
Children
The game collects no personal data from anyone, children included.
Your rights
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to show, correct or delete. Your saved game is under your control on your phone. You can still email crickettechsa@gmail.com with any question, and complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the authority where you live.
Changes
If a future version of the game changes any of this, we'll update this page and its version and date before that version is released.
